At what age can
my child start using Muzzy?
From 2 years up. Research by sociologists and specialists in education
has shown that the best age for learning a second language is
without doubt: the earlier the better.
My children are
teenagers. Can they still benefit from Muzzy? And can I?
You can all learn with Muzzy. Although the course was originally
developed for teaching children English as a second language,
its technique has proved to be just as effective for learning
any language at any age and more so with the inclusion of the
new interactive exercises.
What makes Muzzy
such an international success?
The key to Muzzy is that it allows you to learn other languages
effortlessly while having fun, using the same natural method which
we used as children to learn our mother tongue: by listening to
words or phrases and associating their sounds with the objects,
people or actions which they stand for.
Why do my children
and I need the version in our own language?
The course is developed around an enchanting story in animated
cartoons which has been specially designed for language teaching.
A version in their own language helps children who do not yet
read to follow the story before watching it in the language they
are going to learn. Older children can skip this version if they
wish, using the subtitles on the DVD's or the video script in
the books instead.
My children can't read yet. Will they be able to do the interactive exercises?
They'll be able to do some of them. For others they will need your guidance. We suggest that you try the exercises in the demo with them and you'll see how they learn while having fun.
How are the interactive
exercises useful?
Learning a new language is like learning to drive: you need practice
as well as theory. In addition, many of the exercises have been
designed for practising the written language.
